Ground Turkey Taco Meat

Ground Turkey Tacos

with Tomato Turmeric Sauce (saute)

These are the kind of tacos you make when you want something easy but still deeply satisfying. Lean ground turkey is seasoned with chili powder, oregano, and a touch of cayenne, then finished with Tomato Turmeric Super Sauce for a rich, savory boost. The tomato base brings cozy comfort, while turmeric, cumin, and paprika add warmth and depth that make every bite feel just a little more special.

The sauce melts into the turkey as it cooks, turning a simple skillet into something rich and spoon-worthy. Bold but not heavy, it works just as well in tacos, lettuce wraps, or over rice.

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb ground turkey

  • 1½ tbsp chili powder

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

  • ¾ tsp salt (optional, to taste)

  • 1 cup Tomato Turmeric Super Sauce

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 8–12 small tortillas, warmed

Optional toppings: chopped cilantro, shredded lettuce, diced onion, avocado, lime wedges

Instructions

1. Season the turkey
In a bowl, combine ground turkey with chili powder, oregano, cayenne, and salt. Mix gently until evenly seasoned.

2. Brown
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the turkey and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until fully cooked and lightly browned, about 6–8 minutes.

3. Sauce & simmer
Stir in Tomato Turmeric Super Sauce. Reduce heat and simmer for 3–5 minutes, until the sauce coats the turkey and everything is juicy and well combined.

4. Serve
Spoon the turkey into warm tortillas and finish with your favorite toppings. Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
